Philanthropy
As well as Shopify development, we’re passionate about doing some good in the world, whether it be something large or small. When possible, we try to sponsor and/or donate free services to causes we believe in. Here are some of the causes we support:
Australia Zoo
Australia Zoo is an important place for animal conservation. Their Wildlife Warrior program supports Australia’s largest animal hospital, where thousands of animals are treated each year, for free.
Kiva Microlending
Kiva is one of the world’s largest micro-lending organisations, which allows anyone to make a loan (as small as $25) to entrepreneurs in developing countries.
Oxfam 100 Sponsor
Some friends and colleagues of them chose (yes, chose) to walk 100 kilometers in Melbourne in support of Oxfam, one of the world’s greatest supporting companies to eradicate poverty. We sponsored the cause.
Project AWARE Sponsor
Shark and Manta Ray protection through engagement with divers and sea-goers. We are a proud sponsor of the program.
Brazilian Film Festival
We donated our services to build parts of the Brazilian Film Festival website. We also did some of the artwork and poster design for the festival, to draw in more visitors to this fantastic not-for-profit cultural event in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.
